Little feet. A big world.

Out into the world, together

Outdoor exploration is an important part of my setting. I enjoy helping children discover nature, notice little wonders and go on little adventures together.

Fresh air, new discoveries

Children have regular opportunities to explore parks, green spaces and the world around them, as well as enjoying a range of play and learning experiences indoors. I believe children benefit from being out and about and experiencing the world beyond the home setting.

Places to explore

Depending on children’s ages, needs, the weather and the arrangements in place, outings may include:

  • Nature walks, Brockwell Park and other parks and green spaces
  • Farms, museums and seasonal activities
  • Libraries, local markets and other community places
  • Toddler groups and stay-and-play sessions

More than a little adventure

Outings provide opportunities to develop communication, physical skills, confidence, curiosity and understanding of the world. I follow the children’s interests and adapt experiences to their needs. Back indoors, there is time for stories, creative play, songs, rest and familiar favourites.

Planning outings with you

Some venues or activities may involve an additional charge. I will discuss any applicable costs with parents in advance and seek their agreement. Participation in optional paid activities will not be assumed.
