Space for little interests

I offer a range of age-appropriate activities and resources to encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, independence and physical development.

Children have opportunities for indoor play, outdoor experiences, stories, music, creative activities and practical learning. Activities are adapted to suit children’s ages, interests and individual needs.

Working in partnership with parents

I believe positive communication with parents is an important part of supporting children’s wellbeing and development.

I welcome conversations about children’s interests, routines, achievements and individual needs. Working together helps me provide consistent care and make children’s experiences as positive as possible.

Meals, health and wellbeing

Children’s health, wellbeing and safety are important to me. I follow appropriate hygiene practices and support children in developing healthy habits, independence and self-care skills.

Parents provide their child’s packed lunch and any agreed snacks. Drinking water is available to children throughout the day.

Please let me know about any relevant dietary requirements, allergies or care needs through the appropriate private discussion and registration process.

Safeguarding and professional practice

I take safeguarding seriously and work in line with the requirements and guidance applicable to my childminding provision. I aim to provide a safe, caring environment and to promote children’s welfare, dignity and individual needs.
